Despite her no nonsense in your face demeanor, Mercedes is a great friend.  She's full-figured and fierce.  Friends, I'm digging this character's personal style. About Actress Amber Riley

Amber Riley, age 24 native of La Mirada, CA -- auditioned for American Idol at 17.  Worked with Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy in 2002 when he cast her in his WB sitcom pilot St. Sass -- show was not picked up. Introducing fictional character Penelope Garcia, the quirky computer tech on CBS' Criminal Minds played by Actress Kirsten Vangsness. Garcia is a computer guru who helps the team of FBI profilers research cases -- she is fun loving, flamboyant, humorous, and of course intelligent. I am digging this character's personal style. I have always been an advocate for showcasing individualism when it comes to fashion. Lets face it, fashion is subjective, what works for some may not work for others...this style is working for Garcia - it fits her personality perfectly. I love it! [LLIS]
